Privacy policy

What we collect, why, and what we will never do with it. Written in plain English, because a policy nobody can read protects nobody.

Last updated: August 20, 2026

EATADIK is published by Patriot Projects LLC, a Colorado limited liability company ("we," "us," "our"). This policy covers this website. It does not cover Amazon, which has its own privacy policy governing anything you do on Amazon's site.

The short version

  • The only personal information we ask you for is your email address, and only if you choose to give it to us.
  • We use it to send you the free acronym glossary and occasional updates about new booklets.
  • We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. Not to anyone, not ever.
  • You can unsubscribe from every email with one click, and ask us to delete your record entirely.

What we collect

Information you give us

Email address. If you sign up for the free Board-Prep Acronym Glossary, we collect the email address you enter. That is the only field on the form.

Anything you email us. If you write to us about a bulk order, a correction, or anything else, we keep that message and your email address so we can answer you.

Information collected automatically

Our web host records standard server log data — IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps — as part of serving the site and protecting it from abuse. We do not use this to build a profile of you.

Cookies. This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own. If we add analytics or advertising measurement in the future, we will update this policy and say so plainly before it goes live.

How we use it

  • To send you the free glossary you asked for.
  • To tell you when a new branch, trade, or checkride booklet is released.
  • To answer questions you send us.
  • To keep the site running and secure.

We aim to email no more than once a week, and usually far less.

Who we share it with

We share your email address only with the service providers required to deliver what you asked for:

  • Our email service provider, which stores the list and sends the messages. They process the data on our instructions and may not use it for their own purposes.
  • Our web host, which serves this site.

We may also disclose information if we are legally required to, or to protect our rights or someone's safety. Beyond that, no one gets your data. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Amazon links and affiliate disclosure

Links on this site to Amazon are affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate, Patriot Projects LLC earns from qualifying purchases. This costs you nothing — the price is the same either way. When you click through to Amazon, you are on Amazon's site, subject to Amazon's privacy policy and cookies, not ours. We never see your payment details or order information.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. Unsubscribing removes you from mailings; asking for deletion removes the record.

Your choices and rights

  • Unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of any email we send.
  • Ask what we hold about you, and we will tell you.
  • Ask us to correct or delete it, and we will.

Residents of California, Colorado, Virginia, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws, and residents of the UK and EEA, have specific rights to access, correct, delete, and port their personal data, and to withdraw consent. We honor those requests from everyone, regardless of where you live — it is simpler and it is the right thing to do. Email patriotprojectsceo@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

Children

This site is intended for adults and for service members. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us their email address, write to us and we will delete it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and our email list is held by a reputable provider behind their own access controls. No system is perfect, and we will not pretend otherwise — but we collect so little that there is very little to lose.

Where your data is processed

We operate in the United States and our service providers store data in the United States. If you are writing from outside the U.S., you are consenting to that transfer.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant — new tracking, a new category of data, a new recipient — we will say so on this page and, where it affects the list, by email.
